Jr. Troopa Is Not A NokoNoko But A Kuppa

So in a previous post I hypothesized that Jr. Troopa could be a Magikoopa due to his ability to wield magic. Then I wondered if his Japanese name would give any indication to this. Turns out his Japanese name was not Kamekku or any variation of it. Nor was it Kokamekku, or even NokoNoko. Instead his Japanese name was Kowappa aka Brat Bowser.

This would mean he is actually a Kuppa, a species of turtle in the Mario World that I have talked about before. This would also explain why he seems to have access to magic so easily, since it seems to be something reserved for the Kuppas/Bowsers and Magikoopas.

Au in which garmadon raised lloyd to be his right hand/general 1

Lloyd would have been so much more of a threat to the ninjas in season 1 if garmadon hadn't immediately gotten banished to the underworld (after lloyd was born). He could've taught him the power of destruction much earlier and lloyd would have had much more of an attachment to garm (therefore harder to win over as the green ninja)

Some headcanons for this au:

💜Lloyd still freed the snakes but not because he wanted to scare the ninjas and be respected but more so that they help him release garmadon from the underworld (after the skeletons failed)

💜instead of joining the ninjas with basically no resistance, he joined them much much later after garmadon met the overlord and started to get manipulated by him (which lloyd felt strongly discomforted by because he worried about his dad)

💜yea season 2 would have played a lot more different

💜realising he is the green ninja would also hit him much worse than canon already did

💜and he would have a lot more difficulties tapping and using the green element because he instinctively uses destruction whenever faced with trouble

💜kai also wouldn't have been able to accept lloyd as the green ninja right away (even after being presented with the truth) because he and the ninjas still kinda view him as an antagonist (especially because lloyd doesn't want to accept that role either)

💜but he eventually does, realising he has to in order to save his dad from the overlord

💜 strategy meetings would have gone like this: "but how can we trust that the villain will appear here, lloyd?" "if there's someone that knows how a villain thinks, it's me"

my one thought on bowuigi is that while luigi might develop a positive bond with junior, i think the koopalings would absolutely torment him. "luigi bonding with bowser's kids" "the koopalings see luigi as a parent" no. They Are Fucking Biting Him.

what are some of your favorite Super Paper Mario headcanons?

I wasn't sure how specific you'd want those to be but I tried to think of a few that I personally enjoy/tend to apply myself!Includes spoilers.

Some general headcanons:

SPM takes longer than than a day/few days (maybe about a month or two)

Flipping into 3D is a nauseating experience and it takes time to fully adjust to it (especially for Mario, he never really managed to get over it).

Pure Hearts emit a comforting aura, a sense of warmth and calm, while the Chaos Heart feels like a thousand voices are whispering in your ear.

Some character specific headcanons:

Mario finds himself confused and lost more than he ever did in his life during this adventure. His usual confidence and grounded attitude are shaky because almost everything in these other worlds makes no sense to him, which is rather frustrating, especially at the beginning of his journey where he's completely surrounded by strangers and forced into the hero role. (Seriously, Mario couldn't even go home if he wanted to because he's stuck not on an island but between dimentions where he was TELEPORTED IN. There isn't really a door that leads to the Mushroom Kingdom.)

Peach's parasol is hardened by steel and enhanced by magic with a sharp tip at the end. She changed her heels to something more comfortable on the Flipside and put her hair up so it doesn't get in the way during travel and unavoidable combat.

Bowser takes his 'marriage' very seriously. He cares more about Peach than Mario in the team so when she's trouble he'll dash to assist her (he can run when he really wants to huh), but if the red plumber's in trouble he'll pretend to not see it or brush it off. (unless his lovely wife nags him about it).

Luigi, after landing is the Underwhere, finds lots of stuff in his pockets that he doesn't remember squirreling away like firecrackers, bolts and a small screwdriver. He is in fact very confused.

Count Bleck isn't very emotional. Most of the time he only has one, sad and dull expression. Any type of larger emotion showing through means that you've REALLY pushed it to the extreme.

The minions know the kind person that the Count is deep at heart so they're not put off by his frown, except for Mr.L. A default reaction that the brainwashed soldiers get as a 'bonus' from Nastasia is the highest respect for the Count, yes, but also fear of him. The fear ensures that they are most obedient but it's more of a failsafe than anything. You can imagine how it looks when Mr.L, an exploding and tempered personality, runs around the castle causing havoc like a brat and then suddenly just FREEZES on the spot at the sight of Bleck.

On the topic of the quirks of Nastasias ability, usually a person only needs to be brainwashed once. HOWEVER due to a certain someone who likes to provoke the man in green and his subconscious she is required to sometimes strengthen the control on Mr.L as she doesn't trust the magician with keeping his mouth shut. At one point she directly orders L to actively stay away from the jester, even forcing him to follow her around when she works.

Dimentios poncho and hat are covered in glitter and his mask is porcelain-esque, also the idea of him being the "son of the magician". I just think this theory is quite fitting and I like the thought of him being actually 3000 years old. He's not very popular at the castle but everyone has a silent agreement to not bother him. He however bothers everyone and likes to stare. When he's intrigued he tends to tilt his head slightly.

Mimi enjoys designing clothes and tries to give fashion advice to her teammates (to absolutely no avail because who cares we're literally ending the world, we're evil and depressed blehhhh). She and Dimentio have an 'annoying sibling' dynamic and she wouldn't hold back against him in battle at all for all the times he's messed with her. She also enjoys filing her nails to be super sharp.

Nastasia is a very strict person who takes her duties seriously but she does have a side for fun. You just need to search for it a little.

O'Chunks likes to spar with Mr.L in his free time. Mr.L is in general one of the few people he can do this with since Mimi says that 'she doesn't want to ruin her dress over such a stupid thing' and Dimentio always finds an excuse or simply dissapears.

Post SPM headcanons:

There is little conflict with the neighbouring kingdoms after the void incident. Peach, Mario and Luigi use that free time to have fun and just relax after everything that happened. They need eachothers support for the time being.

'Team Bleck' still meets up often after everything and hangs out. They don't necessarily talk about the Count but it's nice knowing that there are other people who understand what you're feeling right now. *They've been trying to have a full group reunion with Luigi included for some time now. Things are a bit awkward among them but it's still nice when he agrees to come along.

Luigi inherits some of Dimentios mannerisms which shine through from time to time such as laughing patterns, hand gestures and a rather malicious looking grin... A bit more unrelated and physical change is that his hair tends to turn white when he's around strong sources of power. (Dream Stone and Dark Star levels kind of powerful ykyk maybe Super Star as well or stardust in general cause star child origins) and the eyes somewhat darken.

He's also never really informed about the specifics of his Mr.L and Super Dimentio arc. Mario doesn't really want to burden his brother with something that was in the past and not a necessary in his eyes knowledge since it wasn't truly him.

The Chaos Heart isn't completely gone. It rests, slowly regaining power within it's host, accumulating all the scattered fragments like puzzle pieces. Try all you want but you can never fully get rid of chaos, it's an inescapable force.

I might gather up some more another time but I'd say that's it for now! You might've already heard some of these before but I hope it was at least a good read.

Wario gets a lot of Odd Jobs and Today he's a Mall Santa, And what are the chances that his first kid was "Him"

Wario: "Ok, Pays not great but at least it'll be enough to get through the next Two months."

"I wonder who the first Brat is oooohhh my god..."

Jr. :"HI SANTA!!!"

Wario: "HO HO ho..... What do you want..?"

Jr. :" I want-"

Bowser: "Hey Luigi does, Santa look a little familiar to you?"

Luigi: "Hmmmm, a little bit."

Totally blaming @dibujos-de-la-orilla , especially after this post with Mario, Luigi and Peach helping Bowser and Junior in their time of need and Mario being the best at cheering up kids.

Anyway.

AU where instead of Junior wanting his dad to be with Luigi because Luigi is the best Mama (nothing against this trope! It's cute AF), Junior does everything to get his dad and Luigi together because Mario is the COOLEST. Mario babysat him on accident/in an emergency a couple of times and Junior LOVED IT and wants to do it again! Mario always has cool ideas for games and has so much energy, he's not like the grown ups who sit down and ask Junior to "go have fun", instead Mario wrestles with him!! And he races Junior in any vehicles ! And he always buys ice cream !

So while Bowser is racking his brain trying to explain to his son that he's dating one of their oldest enemies, Junior pulls every trick in the spoiled kid book to get his dad to spend more time with Luigi...and leave him in Mario's charge in the meantime. Because Bowser is an idiot, he doesn't realize he's being played by a kid, and instead angsts over leaving his son with his nemesis (which, as much as he hates to admit it, is the person he trusts the most to keep his hyperactive, powerful brat in check but safe; most of his castle staff aren't equipped to deal with fire-breathing Royal Koopas and Kamek isn't always available).

You'd think Luigi would be jealous of Junior clearly preferring Mario to him, but secretly, he's very relieved : he likes Junior, he really does, but unlike Mario who's a born natural with kids, Luigi needs more time for kids to warm up to him, and right now he's at the stage where he would rather focus on developing his relationship with Bowser. So if Junior enjoys himself with Mario while Luigi is enjoying himself with Bowser ? It's a win for everyone !

Mario isn't fooled either, he finds the situation hilarious and never minds having Junior around. Peach was a bit worried at first that Junior would fixate on her as a Mama again but she was quickly relieved; Junior has outgrown that phase, now he wants to beat Mario at every video game in existence and also show him this cool rock he found and, and, did you know Bloopers can grow back their tentacles ?! "No they can't", Mario says with a smile hidden under his moustache, prompting Junior to say that yes they can!!

"Well let's test it then, okay ? I heard there's a giant Blooper on Delfino Island..."

"!!!!"

Bowser is the only one who doesn't realize everyone is very happy with the arrangement and is worrying he's being a terrible dad and a lame boyfriend.

Jack Hanma Wearing a Halloween Costume

“I’m not coming out of the bathroom.” Jack’s deep voice rung out behind the door. From his tone, (your name) could tell the giant man was pouting.

“Come on, Jackie. It can’t be that bad.” They tried to reassure their friend but only a huff was heard. For such a big, strong guy, he was such a brat. “It’s Halloween. You promised you’d dress up with me this year.”

“Yeah but I didn’t think you’d go through with it. I look ridiculous.”

“It can’t be that bad. Stop being such a Debbie downer.”

The door clicked open and it took everything in (your name) not to explode in giggles. Here Jack was with a Bowser costume on. The headpiece only sat on the top of his head since his jaw was too long while the shell looked like a miniature backpack on his large back.

“I knew it was bad. I’m taking it off-“ (your name) held his hand to stop him.

“We’re just going trick or treating. I’m sure the kids will love your costume.”

“I look like dollar tree bowser. Plus we’re a little too old for that, don’t you think?” Jack grumbled. “Seriously. I don’t want to do this- do not look at me like that. You look like your eyes are going to rupture if you try to make them any bigger.”

“Why are you so mean?” (Your name) shook their head and sighed. “I guess I can just ask Katsumi if he wants to go instead. He can be Mario while I’m princess peach-“

“I’ll wear it.” Jack interrupted, the blonde crossed his arms over one another. A bit of a pink hue on his cheeks. “Just don’t get that karate brat involved.”

(Your name) smirked at Jack. “Do you do like me.”

“Don’t push it.” Jack grumbled, the tsundere man went back into the bathroom. “I just don’t want you hanging out with him is all. Doesn’t mean I like you.”

“Mhmm. Sure.” The wide smirk didn’t leave their face once since Jack’s ears were still pink. Thank goodness they’ve been around Jack long enough to know his moods. He was a softie deep down that hid his true self through mean words.

It was refreshing to know that Jack cared about them… but they had already messaged Katsumi so… this will be fun to explain later.

Streamer!Ghost playing Mario Kart with Gaz?

"Don't you dare do it, love. Don't do it!" Ghost warned. Gaz was directly behind him and was threatening to throw a shell in order to drift him off the course.

Ghost was Bowser while Gaz was Peaches. They had been playing for the past hour or so since he started the stream. Gaz had been acting like a complete brat on the races. Throwing shells nonstop to make him lose. And now, it seemed like it would be a repeat.

"Don't do what? I'm just behind you. Kissing your ass. See?" As to prove his point, he bumped the back of Ghost's cart with a grin. But his eyes were filled with mischief despite his words.

And Ghost knew. His chat kept egging Gaz on even more. They're the reason for Gaz doing it in the first place. Which caused the Ghosties to laugh at his misery.

"If you do this? No sex for a month." Ghost threatened. His voice serious this time. It made Gaz pout but he listened nonetheless. He backed away from him and continued the race fairly. Like the goodest boy ever.

"I'm best boy." Gaz murmured, but he was able to hear it. Ghost grinned under his mask. He loved Gaz being a good boy for him. He made a mental note to reward him later.

Super Mario Bros. Isekai!Reader (Bowser x Reader) (2/3)

There were exactly three more weird encounters with Bowser that stuck with you.

He seemed to be even keener on taking you down after the first encounter. It kind of scared you. Actually no, it really scared you.

You actually have a target on your back now.

But that didn't stop you from having a fun time around the kingdom.

You traveling around the kingdom started this whole series of encounters in the first place.

The first encounter…

it was at the mushroom fields where you were having a small picnic by yourself after Peach told you to have a break.

you picked a nice spot to set your basket and blanket and took in the scenery.

The weather was so nice out today, it was a perfect time out. It kind of made you want to sleep outside on your blanket after you ate.

You guess.... shutting your eyes for a few seconds wasn't going to hurt. It was your day off. It was so peaceful that it was a crime to not relax. Just a little-

"YOU!!"

huh?

You opened your eyes to see a large Fireball heading in your direction.

You were able to move out of the way fast enough to save your basket. Your Blanket and nap area was burnt to a crisp.

"My Blanket!!" You said shocked to your core. You look at the person responsible for this and turned out to be none other than Bowser. Steam was still coming out of his nose as he glared at you

"What was that for?"

"You Know EXACTLY What That Was For, Pipsqueak. You're Going To Pay For What You Did!"

Uh Oh. You don't have the energy to fight him again. Not that you really wanted to fight but still. There must be something around here!

"Think Fast!" You throw the first thing you had with you. A sandwich.

It splattered across Bowser's face, blinding him. This is your chance to book it. You can as face as you can.

"YOU BRAT!!" He quickly wiped off the mess on his face so that he could burn you to a crisp.

He couldn't find you, however. you could run fast if you wanted to. He stomped around for a minute until he came across a goomba. It looks like it's one of his.

"You! I'm looking for a Brat! Have you seen her?"

The goomba said nothing but nodded his head in a different direction. Bowser followed the direction the goomba pointed to.

"Hehe..I can't believe that worked." You take off the goomba hat and chuckle to yourself. The goomba mask always worked in video games, but you didn't think it was going to work in real life.

Let's run back to the mushroom Kingdom before he notices.

Second Encounter…

You were napping in the forest. Why? You don't know. It just felt comfortable underneath the tree.

you could get used to this. In your old world, you had so much stressful work to do, and naps were little to none, as it felt shameful to take a nap sometimes. This, however, felt nice. this world had little to really stress over.

"Grrr!!" You opened your eyes and saw A FIST COMING INTO YOUR DIRECTION!

You quickly moved away before he came in contact with you, creating a large hole in the tree.

okay, almost little to stress over.

"You won't get away this time!"

"HEEEEELP!!" You ran as fast as you could.

the good news is that you were not far from the Mario Bros. House.

Luigi was peacefully doing the laundry outside when he heard yelling. He turned around and saw you.

"HE'S GONNA KILL ME!"

"What? WOAH!"

"GET BACK HERE!"

You had the Mario Bros. take care of that one for you. That's how you were able to escape the second time. Cowering in their house.

Third Encounter……

This time you were picking fruits from trees in a forest. You planned to take some back to the mushroom Kingdom and bake with Peach. You currently have bananas, apples, and peaches.

hopefully they will be enough for some delicious desserts.

While you were lost in your train of thought, a fireball comes your way. You were able to jump out of the way before you were hit. Deja vu.

You turned around and saw the one and only Bowser. He was beyond angry. Veins were popping out of his head. and steam seemed to come from everywhere. oh boy.

"This.ends.here! Stop running away!"

You ran anyway. He wasn't far behind.

You still had one trick up your sleeve. You reached into your basket and pulled out the only weapon you had. A banana.

Throwing it to the ground, you ran faster as he slipped on it. This made him roll over on his back, making him unable to get back up.

"You annoying pipsqueak! Get back here!!" He yells, struggling to get back up.

This is the perfect time to get back to the kingdom......but.

you can't just leave him like this. well, you can, but you didn't want to. It didn't feel right, no matter how scary he was.

you went behind him to push him back on his feet.

"H-Hey, What are you doing?!"

"Getting you back on your feet!" He was really heavy. you were kinda struggling a bit. But you knew you were close, just a little more push.

"I don't need your help!"

'Almost...Got It!" With a huge push, you successfully got him back on his feet, your arms feeling like jelly while you did so. He's as heavy as he looks.

He turned around to look at you. Slightly glaring at you as you look like a quick puppy. You were a little too tired to run and couldn't put up much of a fight. You'll have to accept your fate.

But he just turns back around and stomps away, with a scowl on his face.

"Count your luck. I decided to spare you. Get lost!" He stomps away, leaving you confused.

That was weird.

I got another Bowuigi story idea inspired by Super Mario Sunshine.

Mario and Princess Peach went to Isle Delfino for their honeymoon/anniversary. Luigi tagged along as a chaperone and the couple wanted to show Luigi around the island. While the red plumber and the princess enjoyed themselves, Luigi felt that he was being watched by something... or rather, someone. It was a dark figure with spikes resembling... Bowser. Despite voicing his concerns to his brother, he was either interrupted or minded dismissively.

Eventually, the green plumber decided to investigate by himself and followed after the figure. He soon found out it was Bowser Junior, disguised with the help of his paintbrush. The little Koopa prince told Luigi that he, his siblings and his dad were having their vacation there as well. He was planning to surprise his dad by bringing Luigi over to see him (Both Bowser and Luigi are secretly dating). Taking hold of the tall plumber's hand, Junior led Luigi to where the others were. One of Peach's attendant toads who was running an errand, saw that and informed Mario and Peach.

Assuming that the prince was kidnapping Luigi as retaliation by Bowser's order, the duo searched around the island and eventually found Luigi... relaxing in the hot springs with Bowser, Jr and the Koopalings. The taller twin was cuddling on Bowser's chest, enjoying the hot water.

"Weegie!"

"Mario!"

"What are you a-doing here hanging out with Bowser and his horde of brats?! We were told one of them kidnapped you!"

"Language, fratello! First of all, I wasn't kidnapped! I'm sorry for not informing you earlier about where I a-went! Second of all, there are bambini here so please watch your tone and tongue!"

"B-But, why would you hang out with him," Mario pointing a finger straight at Bowser. "Instead with a-me and Peach?"

"Because I like them, okay and when I tried to tell you about what was going on before I left, you and Peach were too busy canoodling with one another to listen!"

Mario and his wife were stunned. Damn, they realized Luigi wasn't wrong about thay.

"...Sorry, fratellino about ignoring you. We'll make it up to you. Come on, let's a-go." Mario took hold of Luigi's wrist.

"So soon?" Mario looked at Luigi when he heard that as if he grew a second head. "Well, yeah. You spent enough time with them. Let's a-go!"

"I don't want Mama Luigi to go now!" Junior grabbed onto Luigi's leg.

"Mama? Kid, he's my brother, not your mama! Now, let go!" Mario picked the little koopa off his brother's leg, Junior nearly slipping.

"Junior!" Luigi managed to catch Junior from falling.

"MARIO! HOW DARE YOU DISTURB ME, MY BOYFRIEND, MY KIDS AND MY VACATION!!!"

Bowser roared, royally pissed.

This escalated into an argument between Mario and the Koopa King. Luigi noticed some of the younger Koopalings and Jr were soon tearing up from the loud volume and certain choice of words coming from both arguers. He tried to stop the argument but was drowned by the angry shouting ongoing. Eventually, he lost patience.

"ENOUGH!!!!!"

A clap of green lightning cracked, putting the fight to a end. Peach could only stand with her mouth agape like the Koopalings and Jr as they witnessed Luigi scolding Mario and Bowser for making a big scene and doing so in front of children. Just about everyone was stunned. They had never seen Luigi lose his top that hard before...

Thank you for asking! (This is the first ask on this blog EVER!)

First of all, no, they do not know abt the askbox thing. Let's pretend a tiny Child of Sardior is currently spying on them to report the best answers possible ;P

Now let's talk about the Royal Koopa Family! They are doing well!

Currently, they are on a vacantion on Isle Delfino! King Bowser decided it was the right time for a break - considering it was getting too hot even on his Dark Lands - and literally grabbed his children, Kamek and a bunch of loyal personal guards and went to the Isle. They are currently staying at Bowser's private Hotel, Sunshine Resort, located on Sirena Beach - the Hotels and Resorts area of the island.

Except made for the troop of guards, that are currently "at work", everybody is relaxing or trying to do so.

Bowser first. No royal burocracy, no responsabilities for a while - he left a council of his most loyal generals and counselors at his main castle - and he can finally chill under the beach umbrella reading the News, eating out in fancy restaurants all around Delfino and sleepng sweet dreams without thinking about the Human Plumbers or conquest plans and so on for a while. To be sure none will disturb his weeks off, he decided to rent a whole piece of beach only for his family. Is it even legal? The King of the Koopa doesn't care.

Then we have Kamek, who is unfortunately the one that can't really relax for real: being one of the main caretaker of the little Prince Bowser Jr. - but also of the others, even if the older ones are actively trying to ignore this fact - he needs to keep an eye on the small Dragon-Turtle even when at the beach or visiting the various cities. Still, our old Magikoopa is still grateful to be able to sleep 8-hours with the air-conditioning of the Resort.

Now, the kids! (Ludwig and Roy would eat me alive for calling them "kids")

Ludwig is chilling. Like, he decided that "chilling" would be his whole purpose of this vacantion. Being normally nervous and easily irritated at the castle and around his siblings, this time our young multifaceted artist is imposing upon himself to only do things he feels to, and not, like always, all the tasks that he MUST do. He's basically spending these days under the umbrella, talking to his gf on his phone, going out at night with Wendy and Roy when they want to visit the local markets near the beach, playing his favorite violin in his room when outside is too hot and so on. Chillin', yknow?

Lemmy, on the other hand, is enjoying his staying and suffering at the same time for the extreme humid temperature. Probably at the main castle the temperature was way hotter, but Lemmy can't really stand humidity, and summer season in general. But he likes to go swimming, playing pranks on tourists with Iggy and trying every type of ice creams he can find - and Larry and Morton will happily help him finish the ones his belly can't take anymore, since Lemmy tends to buy way more food than he can actually eat. He also loves the fancy restaurants Bowser is taking them every two days, especially since he only packed cool and elegan outfits in his bag, maybe trying to forget about how hot it was. Oh, and he also LOVES Pinna Park, especially the Yoshi Go-Round and the Rollercoaster, and has started to bring there Junior with him to have an official excuse to ride the rides for kids.

Roy brought his motorbike with him, even just to complete his "bad boy appearance". He's actually the one driving his siblings around the Isle when they don't feel to take the public transports - busses are REALLY crowded in this time of the year and... some of the royal brats feel too royal and "superior" to take them anyway, right Lud and Wendy? Except for that, he's mostly competing with Wendy in swimming races, going around at night to find some disco open to teens, and collecting shades at the various markets for his evergrowing sunglasses collection. And he's the one with Morton that is suffering less for the heat, due his constitution and the fact that he's used to the desert heat.

Iggy feels at home with all this humidity filling the hair, but the aggressive reflection from the sun forced him to work on a special shades-version of his already customized spectacles before embargin on the conquest of this vacantion. He also made them star shaped because *fancy*. He also tried to cover himself with all the garlands of flowers he could find at the markets in their first day, and instantly bought the biggest hat he saw for sale. He has his own idea of fancy. His chilling-and-pranking times alternate with researches on the local flora and fauna - if Iggy disappears during the afternoon, don't worry, he probably went studying fishes and birds and monsters and trees and flowers only found on the Isle Delfino. He also brought his pet Charlie the Chain-Chomp with him, to the *delight* of the other guests of the Sunshine Resort.

Wendy is living her best life. She loves going on vacantions and she especially loves to go shopping on vacantions. Her favorite places are the markets all around the seaside cities along with the world-famous Coconut Mall, and she's already ordering enough summer clothes and new forniture to renovate and redecorate her own bedroom at Bowser's Castle. But she's a very good swimmer and loves the sea, and she's very excited to go swimming in something that is not a super hot pool inside the castle or at the ash-gray beaches and tumultuous sea of the Dark Lands. She's also updating her followers on Koopagram almost everyday, especially is she finds something pretty or cool to take a photo with - a beautiful monument, a fancy ice cream, an unsuspecting well-dressed tourist...

Morton is quite content for the break. Even if his older siblings are taking a bit of advantage of him - for example, always asking him to carry their luggage - he doesn't really mind. He knows he's going to spend these weeks with Larry and Junior mostly, helping Kamek keeping an eye on them on one hand and having fun with them on the other hand - eating at the weirdest local restaurants and trying the most-gigantic ice creams on the Isle. He also follows Lemmy and Jr. at the Pinna Park time to time, not because he's too interested in the rides but mostly 'cause they need a tall sibling that looks big enough to let them ride the most dangerous rides without questions by the staff. When he's not spending time with the younger (or shorter) siblings, he go swimming with Roy and Wendy or keep company to Iggy in his scientific researches - and while the green-shelled brother takes photos, samples and notes, Morton has started collecting the most perfectly shaped, beautifully colored and shiny rocks he can find, for his own pleasure and to show Junior, too.

Larry here! Larry is spending his mornings creating the best sandcastles he ever made, and turning them into magical glass/crystal sculptures with his azure breath. Since he found out he could try this out he insisted for months to go to Isle Delfino on vacantion, winning over Lord Bowser at the end with great displeasure of Lemmy, who wanted to visit a colder place or at least going hiking around the tallest mountains they could find. When at the beach, after creating a whole crystal city with Jr., the light-blue Royal Koopa posts photos of his creations on Koopagram - he recently was allowed to create an account, under the name of Darkdiscokoopaxx, even if he only has 3 followers at the moment, two of wich are his siblings and one is Princess Peach after he spammed her tons of DMs asking for her official page's follow. Then he goes swimming, always bringing with him his inflatable donut not because he can't swim - he's actually a decent swimmer - but because he can use it as a chair as soon he's too tired to move his arms. Larry is also enjoying the sort-of-freedom Bowser gives him and his siblings dring the afternoon, and is trying out all the junk food and weird soda he can find, along with his brother Morton.

In the end, Bowser Junior is a kid in vacantion being a kid in vacantion. It's not easy to always act as the Prince of the Koopas and the official Heir to the Dark Lands throne, you know? He's enjoying playing with the sand, trying to learn how to swim properly without water wings - he *can* sort of swim already, but... he feels much safer with them, especially when in open sea and not in a pool - eating cookies under the beach umbrella, painting on the beach during sunset like a Real ArtistTM (jokes aside, he's quite good for his age!), convincing his dad to buy him toys and souvenirs, eating lot of chips with Larry when Kamek isn't watching, riding the backseat of Roy's motorbike too when Kamek isn't watching again, and riding rides too dangerous for the average kid of his age - but not for a Dragon-Turtle, to be honest - when neither Kamek or Bowser are watching. He's enjoying his staying a lot! Oh, especially when, at the end of their second week of vacantion, he bumped into Princess Toadstool herself, with her guards and her friends. But this is another story.

I'm getting back into Mario... And it reminded me of two OC's I made when I was younger... I'll put the second OC on the back burner in case I don't go anywhere with her, but the other OC I know I'm definitely keeping.

The Princess of the Boos, daughter of King Boo

Now, I am still trying to figure out her design and backstory. Her backstory I think I want to keep it a mystery similar to Bowser Jr's origins (the idea I have though is that King Boo had fallen for a human women and used her soul when she died to create the first born Boo; his princess. But I haven't played Luigi's Mansion, so I have no idea if that'd even be in character for him). The only thing that is for certain, however, is that she is King Boo's child and heir.

I keep interchanging between a humanized look for her and her looking like a Boo, however. If she's a royal boo, then she'd be a bit smaller than a regular boo (which is tiny compared to King Boo 🥺), but she has the black sclera like him (or are those dark circles/shadows under his eyes? It's kind of hard to tell), with glowing, opera mauve pupils. She has a jewelry crown like him. However, it's smaller compared to his, and it'd look like a garnet rather than an amethyst like King Boo's crown. Her human form- which I'm not sure if she'd naturally have, could transform into, or would need the Peachette Crown to turn into, I'm still debating on... Though I kind of imagine her having a similar style as Muffet from Undertale 🤔

I couldn't find who the artist of Muffet's illustration was, but this was the best photo I could find. If you guys know, please let me know so I can properly credit them ^^

Yeah, she is still a bit of a mystery 😅 but I still wanted to post about her. Here are some tidbits for her ^^

Personality wise, she is a bubbly goth XD she's the kind of princess who would take you to the cemetery to meet her family, but she's way too happy and excited that you're here so you can't get too weirded out. To her, creepier things are normal; the killer piano is just a lovable puppy to her, the spinning eyeball is a nice decoration, her dad trapping people in his paintings is just 'dad and his collection' to her, etc. She feels curious about the rest of the kingdom, but would also feel out of place in Peach's castle or something.

Even so, when she gets upset, she'll resort to pranks and causing trouble. Like how children will sometimes do if they seek attention. She is a playful soul in general, but her jokes will turn more troubling when she's sad or angry.

King Boo, similar to Bowser with Junior, loves her to peices ^^ even if he is 'working' all the time. He does have a lot of haunted manors to look after and only really gets a vacation when Bowser temporarily takes over, and his time is taken up even more now that he's declared Luigi his enemy. So, unfortunately, they don't see each other too often. King Boo has yet to figure out how to balance his royal duties and family like Bowser (we do see Bowser invading the kingdoms alot, but it's obvious with how much Junior and/or the Koopalings admire and love him that he is a good and devoted father).

Princess Boo keeps a diary, like Luigi in Paper Mario. She writes down everything in it. Little writing blurbs, what she did that day, her thoughts and feelings, etc. Including all the times her dad left her behind.

This does leave Princess Boo feeling pretty lonely and prompts her to show up unannounced. But really, she just wants to hang out with the only parent she has. Sure, her citizen boos will play with her if she asks, but it's not the same... If she was in the games, this could even be a game mechanic; Princess Boo will pop up out of nowhere in the haunted house and pretty much stop everything the player was doing to 'play a game'. Whatever game she chooses, you can only pass the level when you win, but regardles, she looks so happy you're complying with her. On the surface, she looks like a brat interrupting the game, but all she wants is a friend if she can't have her dad.

Which leads me to one of my main tidbits about her; since I hc King Boo and Bowser have some kind of treaty or alliance, especially after the events of Luigi's Mansion, King Boo requested Bowser at some point to make sure his child doesn't interfere with his latest scheme. Bowser agreed, allowing the Boo Princess into his castle. She was pretty hurt by the implications behind this, and she did cause some trouble in the castle. But that led to her running into her best friend, Lemmy Koopa.

Lemmy, as we know, is pretty fun-loving and playful himself. I think he was immediately drawn to Princess Boo, just excited to have another playmate! But also because of how sad she looked. Being part of a mischievous pack of lizard children, he (and all his siblings) can tell the difference between genuine play and attention seeking mischief. Princess Boo at first wanted him to just leave her alone, but it didn't take long of him showing off his ball and magic for her to cheer up and start giggling again. And ever since then, they've been inseparable ^^ in fact, when the koopalings started taking over kingdoms alongside Bowser, she begged her dad to let her set up a haunted house in Lemmy's kingdom so they could team up.

Princess Boo does have varied relations with the other Koopalings too. She and Bowser Jr. And Larry are all similar ages, so they can get along the best (I'm not sure if I want Princess Boo to be younger or as old as Junior. She would definitely be one of the younger kids, though). She was first introduced to makeup and dress up with Wendy- who also taught her the tactic of referring to her dad as 'daddy' to get what she wants, so shes kind of like a big sister to her. Ludwig is a bit stuffy, but he can be cool. Iggy is on a similar level as Lemmy, and Princess Boo adores his pet Chomp Chomp. Roy is also cool, but in a 'the big kids on the block' sort of way to the princess. And she likes playing with Mortan and listening to him blab on about whatever is on his mind. But of course, Lemmy is her bestest friend.

She is envious, though, of their great relationship with their father. She is a bit sensitive about her dad and their relationship and would prefer it to not be brought up whenever she comes over.

Although she doesn't know it, her father is definitely getting dad advice from Bowser when word gets back to him on how sad she really is. He genuinely loves her and wants to do the best for her.

When Princess Boo is really sad to the point of tears, she'll fly away and possess something just so she can be alone and unseen. She has a bed in her room just for the purpose of her diving into it, but she has been known to hide away in paintings, vases, and other furniture and decor.

After hanging out with Bowser Jr., she wanted to try her hand at painting, too ^^ her art is more gothic abstract/psychedelic, and she likes to hang them up in her dad's haunted manors. He refuses to take any of them down, not even to make room for his own collection.

Now, that's all I got for her, but there is one more thing; I have referred to her as Princess Boo throughout this post, but... I don't really like it 😅 I know it'd fit in with King Boo, but I prefer something like Boolina or Booella. I can't decide which one, though. So, even though I doubt this'll reach to a lot of people, I wanted to add a poll ^^ I'd love to see what you guys think.

Edit: I forget that the character Goombella existed. And thinking about it, with Toadette and Gommbella, Boolina would complete the set of 'characters with feminized names of their species' names' xD (but also, Boolina sounds close to Rosalina, and as far as I know, all of the female characters in Mario have unique names special to them 🤔 and I also like the sound of Booella-). So I am leaning a bit more towards Boolina, but we'll see how the poll goes ^^

Also, I meant to add this as an option in the poll, but if you guys have other suggestions for her name, I'd love to hear them! No doubt, you guys are way more creative than me XD

So... this was happening.

All Luigi wanted to do today was hang out with Polterpup at the dog park. Play fetch, drink hot coffee, enjoy the crisp, cool air and changing leaves. That sort of thing.

Unfortunately for the green plumber, after a few rounds of fetch he'd thrown Polterpup's squeaky key toy too far.

And accidentally hit someone.

Bowser, specifically.

He'd tried to apologize, really! But when you hit the king of koopas in the face with a dog toy and your dog steals the keys to his castle and runs away with them it's kind of hard.

The ground shook as the Chain Chomp bounded after Polterpup, dragging Bowser behind them.

"WAN WAN! WAN WAN!"

"DOWN GIRL, HEEL!"

"Waaaaaaahhhhhh!!! Luigi wailed, 2 tons of live wrecking ball speeding past him.

"WAN WAN!"

The two pet owners grunted, Bowser crashing into Luigi. The Chain Chomp's moment, along with the abrupt stop from the collision, resulted in her getting yanked back and swung around like a flail around the two.

So here they were, a king and a plumber chest to chest, tied up with a dizzy Chain Chomp. Meanwhile, Polterpup was trying to invite the KO'd pet to play again, licking their face and wagging their butt in the air.

"Bad doggie!" Luigi said, not that Polterpup was listening.

"Bad doggie?? This' all you're fault, Greenie!" Bowser fumed, trying to force his way out of the chains. Luigi 'eeped' as their binds got tighter the more the king struggled. If the other would just stop for a minute, maybe he could use the wiggle room to free them both.

Bowser continued to huff and puff, throwing jabs at the other and talking over him when Luigi would try to share his plan.

"And another thing- Yeowch!"

If his hands weren't pinned to his sides Bowser would've rubbed the small bite mark on his muzzle, but for now he could only glare down at the younger brother of his nemesis. Cheeky brat.

He growled, about to give the shorter man a piece of his mind, but was immediately shushed. How dare-!

"A-are you sure the cafe's around here, Plonk?"

"Of course I'm sure! The map says so right here!"

"(That map's upside down...)"

"What? Why didn't you tell me that sooner, Guy!?"

Bowser froze, he knew those voices.

"H-hey, isn't that Lord Bowser's Chain Chomp?"

"(What's she doing all alone?)"

"Yip! Yip!"

"Woah! What's a ghost dog doing here?"

"(I think that's the tall plumber's dog.)"

"Y'mean the guy Lord Bowser's been ob-

No no no no no, he couldn't have his Elite Trio see him like this! And why the heck were they just discussing his private biz out in the open for! Urgh, he'll have Kamek talk to them later.

Panicking as their footsteps came closer, Bowser rolled himself and Luigi into some nearby bushes. Horns almost touching the ground, he was basically kneeling over the other.

"I can-a help, you know." Luigi whispered, seeing an opening.

"Huh?"

"Trust-a, Luigi!" He said, a determined look on his face.

"..."

Bowser snorted, so the Green Bean had some moxxie, interesting.

"Bleh, fine. The sooner we're free, the better."

With a wiggle and a shimmy and what Bowser thinks might have been a dislocated shoulder (what the heck?!), Luigi somehow gets enough room to scooch his way out from under their confines.

As quickly and quietly as he could, the plumber helped slide the chains off of his larger companion so they wouldn't alert his minions.

The two waited for the Trio to leave but, to Bowser's impatience, it seemed his minions had abandoned their plans to play with their dogs. On the flip side, he was glad to see his Chain Chomp was fine after waking up.

Wait a minuted. Bowser squinted through the bush; what were they-

It was at that moment Bowser and Luigi realized they'd forgotten to step away from the chains coiled at their feet as the Chain Chomp sped after a stick thrown by Sergeant Guy.

"Yip!"

"WAN WAN!"

Aw crud, not again.

BONUS

hard time figuring out the ending but here's a summary for what i wanted if i had the energy to write it out:

bowser and luigi get tied up again and surprise the trio when they burst out of the bushes at the end of the chain chomp

the trio scatters and bowser's yelling for the chomp to stop/ for someone to give him a break already

maybe luigi does a special sharp whistle (one of his hands is free this time) and stops the chomp, which impresses bowser and his crew

with the trio's help they get untied again and luigi returns bowser's key

luigi leaves to find polterpup's squeaky toy

maybe the trio helps or suggests that bowser help

maybe something where they apologize to each other (mostly bowser blaming luigi and luigi saying sorry for his dog stealing his house key)

the trio gets the wrong idea: eg: bowser and luigi were on a date? eg: they were getting freaky in the dog park eg: bowser failed to kidnap luigi etc.

they end up gossiping and now the entire koopa kingdom and maybe a few other places are talking about how bowser has a thing for luigi

it's completely made up from the misunderstanding (but not completely untrue in general, it was just a coincidence this time)

Since everyone is asking about babies, my turn : How would the Bros react to baby *Bowser* ? As for that matter, would baby Bowser be a nicer kid or an horrible brat from the beginning XD?

It depends what your exact definition of the word "baby" would be in this scenario. xP

If we're talking small-but-walking toddler or very young babbling child, then his possessive and choleric temper would probably start to show already. But as a literal infant? He would just be plain cute. 😭💟

Regardless of his age though, his comically harmless attempts to be the domineering one would assuredly be met with hilarity and indulgent patience on the bros' end. x3 And upon seeing how unfazed, unintimidated and enduringly kind they are be towards him, I think Bowser himself would eventually calm down and listen; albeit begrudgingly. 😆

Hoards

Since my Koopalings are part, and Bowser and Junior are fully, what I call "Draconic Koopas", they sometimes have things that are very reminiscent of Dragons themselves.

Like having hoards. But not really just money type hoards... (Bowser/The royal family have lots of money, but they aren't really like "I need more money!")

They, instead of money hoards, have their own hoards.

Ludwig; Music instruments (Especially the more classical ones.) And plushies…

Iggy; Lab and mechanic tools. That boy has too many of them. He has more mechanic equipment than Dr. E. Gadd…

Lemmy; Toys overall, but mainly ones that have some connection to the circus. And mainly balancing balls (in funky, fun colours).

Roy; Training equipment. He has just about any imaginable weights to do weightlifting with. And a wide array of boxing gloves, so there is a fit for you in it! (And of course boxing balls and punching bags.)

Wendy; Make-up. O, and clothes. And fabric to make her own clothes with. (But, hey. What did we expect here?)

Morton; Spices. Much like the music room, the kitchen is officially everyone's… But the kitchen is Morton's, much like the music room is Ludwig's.

Larry; Sporting equipment. He has just about any ball, in any colour, shape, form, or size… Also just about any form and size ticks, bats, rackets, all that stuff.

Junior; Art stuff. Mainly pencils and paint, but the little brat also has boxes with crayons, markers, sharpies, and all different type of paper. Regular, coloured, canvases to paint on, thicker paper to do waterpaint on. (But, same as with Wendy, what did we really expect something else here?)

Bowser; Kids. They may have come in a bulk in my main AU, but my point still stands. (Yes, I stole/borrowed this joke, here's where I got it from ). In the Partner AU this went into overdrive though, as he eventually starts to see his kids' partners as his kids, too.

Kamek; Books. Especially spell books, but also a lot of regular books for a fun read.
